
Biogas offers companies in the area of agriculture and food industry cost-effective ways to produce their own energy. Actual studies expect investments of more than 1.2 billion Euros into biogas technology in Romania by 2020. More than 140 participants joined our biogas-events in March 2009 in Sibiu. So why should you not profit from this development in future, too? The ProBioPol consortium will proceed several feasibility studies for biogas plants in Romania. The results will be presented to investors in order to launch some demonstrative pilot-projects in the country. The feasibility studies will be free of charge for the beneficiaries, the engineering work is paid of the funding of the 6th Framework Research Programme.
